Bruce Upbin

I run strategic communications for Hyperloop One, an LA startup building the first new mode of transportation in 100 years. I’m passionate about sharing with the world the potential for Hyperloop, a technology that can eliminate the barriers of time and distance and spread freedom of mobility in unprecedented ways.

Before Hyperloop One, I was a reporter, writer and editor at Forbes for 21 years and most recently ran its worldwide technology coverage. I have a BA in English Literature from Northwestern and an MFA in Fiction Writing from the University of Arizona. I split my time between Brooklyn, NY and downtown Los Angeles and am on the board of The Reading Odyssey.
