At Chineasy, we believe that learning Chinese can be fun and easy, which is why we’ve created a comprehensive learning system that combines beautiful illustrations with clear explanations to help you learn Chinese characters and phrases in a memorable way.

In addition to our app, which uses interactive and engaging methods to teach Mandarin Chinese, we’d like to share with you 5 digital resources that give you a more diverse learning experience.

✨ Get the Chineasy app now! Available in the App Store and Play Store! ✨

Duolingo language-learning app

Firstly, Duolingo is a free and enjoyable language-learning app that provides a comprehensive Chinese course covering essential vocabulary and grammar points. The course aims to help learners pass levels HSK 1 through HSK 3, which are equivalent to A1 level to B1 level of CEF. The app also offers many self-guided activities to gradually build learners’ vocabulary.

Pleco Chinese dictionary app

Another great resource is Pleco, a comprehensive Chinese dictionary and language reference tool that you can use to look up new words, find examples of words and sentences, and practice Chinese writing. It also offers advanced features for a fee, such as optical character recognition (OCR), which allows users to recognize characters on the go. You can use the OCR function to scan Chinese text, whether it’s a Chinese menu or package information written in Chinese, and the app will immediately provide the meaning.

Talk Chineasy: Learn Chinese every day

Podcasts and other spoken content are essential tools for expanding your vocabulary and training your listening skills. We highly recommend our podcast show, Talk Chineasy, hosted by our founder, ShaoLan, and is only 7 – 10 minutes long in each episode.

ShaoLan and special guests share cultural insights and amazing stories in each episode. Furthermore, the show teaches you one key phrase daily, along with supplementary related expressions. After a year of listening, you will have mastered thousands of common Chinese words! The show covers a wide range of topics, including greetings, leisure, travel, technology, weather, and romance.
